The Kenya Dental Association is proud to launch Find a Dentist — a first-of-its-kind public directory that helps every Kenyan find quality, licensed dental care, quickly and with confidence.
At a time when the public faces a real and growing risk from illegal and unqualified dental practice, this directory gives patients a trustworthy way to find a dentist whose credentials KDA has checked. Every facility listed is registered by a KDA member dentist and verified by the KDA Secretariat against the KMPDC registry before it is published — no listing appears until its Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) clinic licence has been confirmed.
How it protects patients
- Every facility is verified. The KDA Secretariat cross-checks each clinic’s KMPDC licence before it goes public.
- Search by town or type of practice — general, specialist, or both.
- Licence numbers are shown partially masked, so patients can sanity-check a facility without exposing full credentials.
- Independent verification is built in. The page links directly to the KMPDC registers of licensed dentists and licensed private health facilities, and explains how to confirm a provider by SMS.
The directory complements KDA’s wider patient-safety campaign, including our recent statement condemning the licensing of unqualified persons to provide dental care, and our support for the FDI World Dental Federation’s global action against illegal dental practice.

Add your practice to the directory in minutes. Log in to the KDA Members Portal, open My Clinics → Register a clinic, and submit your facility details. Once the Secretariat verifies your KMPDC clinic licence, your practice appears on the public directory — helping patients find you and reinforcing the message that safe dentistry is licensed dentistry.
