The Call to Leadership
The KDA Mentorship Program relies on the wisdom and experience of seasoned practitioners to guide the next generation. As a Mentor, you play a pivotal role in safeguarding the honor of our profession, ensuring clinical excellence, and fostering ethical practice among early-career dentists and interns in Kenya.
Mentor Onboarding Process
To maintain the highest professional standards, all mentors must be verified KDA members in good standing.
- Verify Status: Ensure your membership is up to date at the KDA Membership Portal .
- Enter the Portal: Log in to your Member Access Area .
- Create Mentor Profile: Under the "Programs" tab, list your clinical specialties and availability to allow our system to suggest appropriate matches.
Precision Matching Algorithm
We value your time. Our system is designed to pair you with mentees who align with your professional profile and schedule:
The system scans for mentees in your region to ensure that face-to-face clinical observation is convenient.
We match you with mentees specifically interested in your area of expertise, from General Practice to specialized surgery.
Matches are only proposed if the mentee's learning needs fit within your self-declared "free windows."
Track mentee progress and review milestone reports through a simplified digital dashboard.
